Many of you may have read about Sudhir Venkatesh in Freakanomics - he was the sociology grad student who bravely ventured into the housing projects of Chicago to document inner workings of the gangs there. In early 2008, he came out with Gang Leader for a Day, a book that goes into greater depth about his inner-city experience. After his successful book tour, we worked with Sudhir to create a centralized site with information about his books, films,  research (he is a sociology professor at Columbia University), and his articles for Slate and the Freakanomics Blog on New York Times.
